  • Therapeutic Massage

    The most popular form of western massage where the therapy is customized to meet the clients needs. Swedish effleurage massage techniques focus on the superficial surface, creating circulation and promoting relaxation.

  • Sports Massage

    Manual manipulation of the muscles geared specifically toward helping people who have physically demanding lifestyles and/or hobbies. This kind of therapeutic massage considers the impact of certain activities on specific joints, muscle groups, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue groups.

  • Prenatal Massage

    An excellent way for a expectanting birthing person to relax and release the tensions that inevitably develop in their changing bodies. Regular massage throughout pregnancy helps birthing people prepare for the birth experience during pregnancy and post pregnancy.

    Please note: Massage is contraindicated in the first trimester (12 weeks) but safe for birthing persons up until labour unless doctor suggests otherwise.

  • Shiatsu Massage

    Developed around 1320 and brought to America from Japan in the 1920’s, Shiatsu comes from the most ancient bodywork practices. The name “Shiatsu” translates to "finger pressure,” which incorporates rhythmic pressure to specific points on the body and tracing along the acupuncture meridian channels.

    Benefits: Eliminating fatigue, preventing chronic and acute pain, lowering blood pressure, boosting immune system, helping with insomnia and reducing anxiety.

  • Thai Massage

    Thai massage brings awareness and concentration to the clients mind and body connection during healing. This compassionate state of being is termed "metta", translating to "loving kindness”. Traditional Thai Massage is received while clothed and lying on a floor mat. Deeper massage techniques are applied by practitioner using their hands, elbows, knees and feet along “Sen” (energy) lines of the body . The client is also assisted into slow yoga stretches and joint range of motion.

    Benefits: Improves range of motion and flexibility, improves posture, reduces anxiety, is energizing and helps support circulation.
